Can the POC srorage water heater heat water that has been pre-heated?

The POC storage heater can operate with inlet water at a temperature not exceeding 70°C. This means the device can be used to heat pre-heated water (e.g., from a DHW cylinder).

Is a safety valve required and how should it be installed?

The safety valve is a required component and is included with the device. It should be installed on the cold water supply following the flow direction. If the pressure in the water supply network exceeds 0.6 MPa, a pressure reducer should also be used.

Can flexible hoses be used to connect the heater?

Flexible hoses can be used to connect the heater; however, it is important to hold the connectors with a wrench during installation.

Does the POC storage heater require the use of a magnesium anode?

The POC heaters have a tank made of stainless steel, so they do not require the use of a magnesium anode.

What is the warranty period for the POC heater?

The POC heater comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty. Additionally, the manufacturer offers an extended warranty of up to 60 months for the perforation of the stainless steel tank.
