PSTI User Information

The Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act, which came into force on April 29, 2024, creates new cybersecurity regulations for consumer connectable products in the UK. Among its key requirements is the Statement of Compliance, a document that manufacturers, importers, and distributors must prepare to demonstrate their adherence to the Act's provisions.

Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Statement of Compliance

We, Kospel Spólka Z o.o. declare as authorised representative of the manufacturer and in sole responsibility of the manufacturer that the listed product complies with the applicable security requirements:

The Product Security and Telecommunication Infrastructure in Schedule 1 (Security requirements for relevant Connectable Products) Regulations 2023.

Schedule 1 specifies security requirements that relate to manufacturers of relevant connectable products which includes the Kospel brand. This includes the following:

  1. Password is unique per device or defined by the user of the device is generated by using a security mechanism that reduces the risk of automated attacks against a class or type of device.
  2. Kospel will provide security updates for this product during the support period. The defined support period is currently X years from the date of purchase. This information will be contained in the Statement of Compliance for all Kospel products in "Compliance".
  3. Users can report vulnerabilities relating to their products by form .

Furthermore, users will receive acknowledgment of the receipt of a security issues report and status updates until the reported security issue is resolved.
